Ampethy to action

       Taking care of oldaged people with concern and by preserving and protecting the family values like love, trust and security is our moto. So to surve this purpose we have started this center ‘Sanvedana Sushrusha Kendra’ on No Profit No Loss basis..

        Till today, we have served move than 300 needy persons in last three and half years. At initial stage Sanvedana has started with only ten beds but now it has thirty beds. This indicates the need of time and successful journey of Sanvedana.

       The credit of Sanvedana’s success goes to the readers of ‘weekly sadhana’ who promoted me to bring my ideas into action, while I was writing articles in sadhana titled ‘Chikhlache paie’ which disclosed inner world of oldage people and our responsibilities towards family members. Today I am happily experiencing action more than mere ideas. I am thankful to those readers of Sadhana weekly who promoted me for action.                 

    I visited Baba Amtes Anandvan and I come across a book titled “Jwala ani Phule“ before starting this center.I was striked with a sentence ‘The ampethy which does not turn itself into an action is infertile’. At that moment an idea to start a nursing service center for needy old-age people was conceived in my mind. It was a challenge for me. But I succeeded in it with the help and co-operation of my colleagues.

    While serving to oldaged and needy persons I always remember Abraham Heschel’s words , “for the development and progress of this world ,we need technology,love and compassion as well.”
